We purchased a 1998 Saturn. The transmission shifts hard into reverse and is in "safe mode" (stuck in high gear). We replaced the Transmission Control Module and it still is reading an trouble code P0702 "Transmission Control System Electrical". Anyone else have the same problem? Could the problem be the Speed Sensors? Or.... any other problem?

There's a bus plate connector on top of the transmission that you'll need to check for the electrical connections. The transmission shift solenoids are connected there and may have loose connections. The valve body may also be a problem but for more answers go over to http://saturnfans.comand search the threads covering transmission issues. If you don't find anything from searching the site then ask. The site has a wealth of information just few clicks away.
