DTC P1635 -- +5 volt Reference Circuit
This 5 volt reference circuit provides a source of signal voltage to the linear EGR, the MAP sensor and the throttle position (TP) sensor. The return lines for each of these circuits are grounded through the PCM. DTC P1635 detects a short to ground in any of these three reference circuits or inside the PCM itself.
Since you mentioned that you had swapped out the EGR, I'd start checking there first for broken wiring or a bad connection.

Update
I popped my hood open again to see if I could find any broken wires. I noticed that there was a crack in the peach colored wire coming from the computer. Not sure if this is part of the issue.
I also took the car again for a drive and it acted normally until the temprature on the temp gauge read about a 1/4. After that I was having hessitation every time I tried to accelerate. I also saw the temp gauge jump back and forth from C to H along with the coolant temp light flashing briefly and disapperaing after about a second. The RPMs also seemed high. They were around 1,500 when I put the car in park.

O.K., I am just touching the surface here because the error codes listed indicate something that may be difficult to chase down. I have pages of data on them and many of those pages are diagnostic procedures involved with using a scan tool in order to follow them step by step.
I mentioned earlier that I do not own one. There are many reasons for that mostly expense. But as time has passed the affordability of them had come down to with in reason. This is a problem that would drive me to go purchase one.
So
Onwards.
P0446 - Evap Vent Solenoid Valve Control System.
There is more on this, but this is the name of that error code.
P0711- This one is spooky. It says that TFT sensor Performance (5) and the 5 says will be set if a short is to the Battery Voltage on the 5 volt reference ckt.
Not the word short in this case means that the 5 volt reference line or wire touches the battery voltage wire or line and that is a 12volt signal.
It does not mean the wire shorts to ground, it means it shorts to the + side of the battery and implies some form of a wiring problem some where in the wiring of the car involving the 5 volt reference ckt.
P1404 is EGR Position Sensor not indicating closed.
1635 has been explained with a place to look. Further explanation is that it is a major problem (largely due to the fact it is a wiring problem somewhere) There is a multiple page diagnostic procedure to aid in chasing this one down using a scan tool that has the capability of commanding or turning off functions of the Engine Control Computer.
This is a pretty complex scan tool and I am not sure you can buy one now for under $200.00. If you can, this is what I personally would do at this point if the car was mine. But then again I have an extensive electronic background and have some awareness of how to use something of this nature.
With out the use of one it is going to take some educated guessing. 0711 and 1635 are related. They say it is a wiring problem with the 5 volt line some how touching (shorted to) the 12 volt line.
It is intermittent from what you are saying.
A TFT I have not figured out at this writing but I think it is something in or on the transmission.
So that is 3 items, the EGR, the evap vent solenoid valve control and the something on the transmission.
What I would be looking at is the general condition of the wiring harnesses in these areas. do they look as if they have been damaged by some one getting into them trying to install a radio or high intensity head lites or fog lites or some damn fool thing people pay good money for to jury rig into their car or some kind of accident damage. If you see damage it is going to pay to try to unwrap the plastic covering and inspect wiring for damage. The car is not more then 10 years old and it will be dirty and groedy who knows in what condition. But the odds are high there is a problem with the wiring where something moves or flexes or near a connector or at the connector for one of these items the error codes are calling out.
As it takes a short period of time before it acts up the first place I would look is either at something that moves when the engine temperature comes up and the EGR changes state. Or something that gets warm causing expansion and contraction.
As you may have to get into the plastic covering of the wiring harness the plastic material is available but hard to find.
Black electrical tape is not a good substitute.
Although, the black electrical tape sold by Harbor Freight is indeed a viable alternative.
At the moment this is the best i can do. I hope it helps.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I took the car into the shop yesterday and they discovered that there were 6 exposed wires running along the transmission. They said that they were able to see some arching from the wiring. They ended up patching the wiring and placing them in some tubing.
I ended up driving the car home yesterday with no issues. Hopefully the problem is resovled.

Now there is good news. It seems as if you managed to get your car fixed so you can enjoy it and we ended up appearing as if we were smarter than we look! There ain't nutten wrong with that picture. Now If I could only drive to cruise night with out blowing a dry rotted tire out again (I finally got 4 new ones installed) or last night blew a power steering hose and the whole bottom of my car is peeing power steering fluid all over anything that gets close to it. I'd be happy!
