Default 98 sl2 ac question

Hello I'm brand new here. Bought my saturn today. I was on the jbody site before . My question is when you turn on your AC does the clutch makes a buzzing noise but when AC is off there is no noise? AC works ok I knew it was a possibility of needing changed soon before I bought it. So I'm not dissapointed just wondering also. The vent door when the blkwer is on makes a creaking weird noise what would that be and how do I stop it doesn't hurt anything but is annoying. Thanks guys glad to be here. If I posted inncorectly I apologize. Thanks

First off - welcome to the Forum.

Secondly, no you have not posted incorrectly.

Thirdly, you don't normally hear a "buzzing" coming from the A/C compressor clutch.

Fourth, that wierd noise is caused by the vent door "fluttering" in the airflow. It's more annoying than it is a problem

Thanks for the reply. The AC clutch doesn't make the normal growling bearing noise just a bzzzzzzzzz noise. Its not a regular failure noise in my opinion. If you think it would help I can post a video with the noise on YouTube. Also that makes sense about the vent door but how do i fix it. Like you said its more annoying than anything and it really is.
