Hi,

My horn stopped working after working poorly for a bit and I ordered a new horn, because the clerk at the auto parts store said it was a dealer part, because when we look at it, it had 3 wires as opposed to 2. The horn I ordered came but only had 2 posts for 2 wires. It was then that I noticed that on the original horn the 3 wire plug actually plugged into an electrical relay that then snapped onto the 2 posts on the horn. So I actually had the correct horn. I also noticed that one of the connections to the relay and the post on the original horn were corroded and broken. I tried using the old relay as it was with the new horn and that didn''t work. I used some wire to temporarily jump the hor with the orange wire from the fuse and the black ground and the new hor works, If I temporarily jump the black wire from the RKE module and the horn switch on the steering wheel on one post and the ground on the other the new horn works with the horn switch. I could rig this up this way, but I would rather get a new relay. Does anyone no where to purchase the relay that mounts on the horn? And/or is it safe to install the horn with just the switch and ground wire and leave the orange fuse wire taped off?

Thank you,

Tom

The horn comes as one assembly.

Thank you,

Do you know where to buy the entire assembly, as any online stores that sell the horn for it, sell it without the relay.
Is it only available from a dealer or a junk yard?
