airbag replacment Question

Anybody know about when an airbag deplyoys in the s series it seems to melt the connector behind the drivers airbag. I was wondering how to get a replacement.Also after bags deploy do you need to replace the modual? Thanks

i believe that the module is reusable, but the sensor is not. were you involved in an accident, or are you fixing a wrecked car?

my niece wrecked her car and Im fixing it for her. The sensor would be the box under the consoel is that correct?

it is not the sensor, that is the module and it must be replaced, been there done that it is quite easy. and you must replace the clock spring, which is what the melted conector is conected to
