Default Can someone tell me how to tighten the Emergency Brake.

Can someone tell me how to tighten the Emergency Brake. I want to do this on my own and not take it to a Mechanic. Please Help.
I should say that this a 1994 Saturn SL1.

First the rear brakes should be adjusted if you have drum brakes.

Default Ummm.

Ok. Saying that I should adjust the rear Drum Brakes really isn't helping though. But, thank you for trying.

Yes adjusting the rear brakes properly does help. Once you do that you can then adjust the e-brake cable at the base of the e-brake handle at the console. Having the rear brakes adjusted directly affects the e-brake.
