If a code is coming up for your cylinders, you may want to check the compression on them. From reading through the posts on here, it seems like alot of people have that issue.

Since you haven't explained what's wrong with your car its anyone's guess if there is anything wrong at this point until you re-post with the codes. As far as the a/c leak goes and finding the leak from what you described you have choices;tighten the fitting a littlebit more to re-seal that section, replace the O-ring by having the system evacuated free from an a/cshop before opening the system, or when all the refrigerant leaks out replace the O-ring then and if you're lucky you may not have any other leaks and a down and dirty recharge might get you back your a/c without any more leaks and problems. The right way to go about it was to recharge with dye so any leaks other than what you've found will show up and not waste your time chasing an a/c problem. Finding leaks is the first thing to look for as you'll find out later when this fresh charge leaks out at the hottest time of the year when repairs should have been done before the summer season starts.

i took to auto zone and they did do a free scan, forgot code anyways said it was a heated O2 sensor ok now i am getting somewhere trouble is there are 4 O2 sensors on my car now which one? re a/c, yes there is dye in the system,is leaking on the high side at the compressor hose fitting but a/c still blows cold but will probably run out eventually, have tried to tighten but wont budge, dont see any leaks anywhere else.so a shop will evacuate the system for free? thats great now to find where. i did a compression test a couple weeks ago,213-214 lbs each cylinder, they are allso close i cant believe it,never had this before and they all hit really quick.

oh,whats wrong with my car was in the heading, check engine lite is on! no symptoms runs fine, r's seem to hang between shifts though, probably from a rich condition cause by faulty O2 sensor that auto zone says it has from checking with their scanner.

well i got the check engine lite to go out, i took the dash apart and broke the bulb...no wait! i took out the front O2 sensor in the header at the front, wire brushed the crap off it screwed back in and shazammm...lite goes out almost instantly. i know this goes against all the delicate warnings but hey what do i have to loose and we will see how long it stays off...

The next time the CEL comes on be to sure write downthe code(s) before leaving the store as I think it will come back. In the meantime go over to http://saturnfans.comand look in the How-to library forthe engine coolant temperature sensor post; read through both threads and go from there.
