Cigarette lighter not working

On the inside of the little panel you pull off to get to the fuses, there's a diagram that says what each fuse goes to. My cigarette lighter didn't work but it didn't bother me at all... But I was checking my fuses one night and my multi-meter didn't go off when I touched the contacts to that one... Lo and behold, it was the lighter...
