Is there a way to clear any codes stored from pervious codes that popped up? Or will they disappear on their own? I got a P0300 code when the service engine soon light came on. I did the tune up, now will the service engine soon light go off, or will I have to take it somewhere to get it cleared and turn off? Thanks...

From my experiences, once the computer "learns" that the changes have been done to fix whatever problem it saw, the light will go off on it's own. Sometimes, you will need to help it along by disconnecting the negative battery cable for a 1/2 hour. The computer will start over it's learning process with no light. However, if the light comes back on while driving, a problem still exists.

Thanks

I went ahead and completed the tune up and then took it for a drive, not short after that the service engine soon light did go off. Thanks for the help.
