I just changed the ECT and apparently the connector was corroded, cause I fired it up and temp gauge went to half (car was cold). Then it went backa notch beforethe cold mark. I let it warm up a bit but the gauge did not move. I left the car running and wiggled the wires at the connector. The car reved up and then died. I shut the ign off and cleaned the connector. Got it all back together and fired it up again. Temp gauge was at 1/4 mark and car was running great, until the SES came on. I used my EZ Scan 6000 and found Code PO711. Which is (transmission fluid temperature sensor circuit range/performance). I have a pretty good idea of what caused it but I am not sure how to go about diagnosing it. Any ideas would be much appreciated. BTW I have allready pulled the connector at trans temp sensor and got a diff code, so is not the prob. I fear a bad PCM or shorted wire. Thanks

SEScleared on its own today. Yay. Don't know how, don't know why, SES is gone and I'm a happy guy.
