CHANGE your fuel filter.

Take the coils off, and clean underneath them. if that doesnt work, post back.

I was getting horrible mileage in my 2000 sl2 when I first bought it and found out my throttle position sensor was messed up, my idle was like 1300 all the time now its 700 to 800 and I get 22mpg city now instead of 17. And after that I got my throttle body cleaned out and it does 24mpg if I keep my foot out of it. hope this might help.

I doubt they're ever going to read that.
