I have a '96 SL2 w/ about 105k miles on it. At about 1/4 tank it starts a hesitation/jumpy thing when you get going once up to speed it normally calms down a bit unless you are real low on gas then it does it all the time. It is throwing no codes from whatI can tell but it feels like it is running out of fuel. major loss of powere and feels like it is missing on random cylinders. I have replaced the Coolant temp sensor, PCV valve, and the EGR valve. Did a carbon burn with 2 cans of seafoam and half a can in the tank. Also put a can of BGs 44k in the tank to clean injectors. About 10 to 20 miles after fill up, it stops tillI am on about 1/4 tank again.

Easy would be to fill it up a half a tank butI want to fix the problem. Is there a pick up tube in the tank that could be sucking air?

Pls help!! My wife wantsa new car ifI can't figure this out andI can't play with my carsand pay for a her a new car at the same time.

Try changing your fuel filter and if really want to find the problem drop your tank and look in there, beleive it or not you can atcually accumilate dirt in your tank if in a dusty windy area. Something may have happened to you pick up tube iin your tank causing restricted fuel flow hence the jumpyness. Good Luck
