Hello folks

Non of the above works. Today I experienced something. I disconnected the speed sensor and it did it. The engineRPMchange to normal.BUT thespeedometer stop working and the ''''check enginesoon light'''' came on.

I think all sl series arethe same. The first day I got this car (new), it had this issue.

What do you guys think about it.

Thank you.

Maybe a bad speed sensor?

Well if it was a bad speedsensor, it would not work, wouldn''tit. I reconnected the wires and the speedometer started to read. At neutral ( car not moving), the engine rpm reads 725 bt if I let go the brakes in a slope, then the rpm start to go upto950 when hot.
