how much horse power would one gain from headers and a new 2.25 exhaust w/resonator+muffler? on 98 SL2

sl1 and sl2 i guess. i have an sl1 but looking to do a swap and figured i get the exhaust done now so its out of the way.

A couple of HP. Not much really. You''ll actually loose low end power and gain a little HP at the top end.

I agree, you really wont see much of anything, besides maybe a louder exhaust

but wouldn''t making the engine breathe better and make it not work so hard to push exhaust out make it better? less resistance makes a difference like synthetic oil.

well i had a 3" cat back exaust on my 93 integra and it was still no faster than a stock one... and the best fuel eco i got was 29 mixed on 91 octane...

well did you make it breathe better and the intake side? What I''m saying is the engine won''t work as hard to take in air and to expel exhaust. less work more hp and maybe a little more mileage
