I'm not quite sure whats going on this time
So I just posted on here a couple of weeks ago about my saturn belt squeaking and I got a new tentioner...thanks everyone. Well now im back becuase Im having other problems...
ABout 2 weekends ago I was on kinda a road trip with some of my college friends and on our way back we were averaging about between 70 and hitting up to 90 mph on the highway. it was running great...until i stopped right at the stop sign of the exit. The car was shaking real bad and really felt like it wanted to shut off. Im always checking the fluids. Like I know Saturns "rattle" but this was straight out shaking. And now theres a bad exaust leak. I had a friend look at it, and he said it was a motor mount...he's "kinda" a mechanic, but works at jiffy lube as a manager so idk what all he knows. Anyone else have this problem?
It shakes at idle in park, and driving below like 45. When its coasting or above 45 its better. You can still tell its there, but dont really shake all that much. It kinda feels like a real bad front end alignment, but i know thats not it.

Well, did a 'lookback' on your postings, and if you have not previously replaced your motor mounts, now would be an excellant time to do so. Since I cannot tell how 'severe' your problem, I'd suggest doing both upper and lower. They are located on the passengar side of the vehicle.
Actually, there are supports on the driver's side as well under the transmission, but they seldom go bad

Well I took it to the garage and he said that one of my cylinders is done for. I was taking my car up over a mountain and thats when I realized it wasnt a mount...it shut of on me. It started right back up but so I can finish getting up the mountain it was running at like 5000 rpms and wouldnt shift. My mechanic told me I was probablly running on 2 cylinders and thats why it shut off. I just put brand new spark plugs in it as well. So its either a new motor or new car. This car has exactly 199,950 miles on it so it got me pretty far!
