LED Replacement bulbs

LED Replacement bulbs
Recently, an 1997 SW2 fell into my hands, and after much debate and soul searching, I have decided that it's time to retire the 97 SL1 due to it's high mileage and the features available in my newly rebuilt SW2 (cruise control is a gift from God himself and I will not be convinced otherwise).
However, the interior lighting leaves much to be desired. Mainly the fact that many lights are burned out. So far I've replaced the climate control, 12v power socket (who actually uses the cigarette lighter?), and cup holder lamps with nice clean LEDs. I'm waiting for a warm day where I'm not devoted to work to tear into the dash and do the instrument cluster, and I fear those may slip away as winter is approaching and rain seems to have moved in lately. However, two bulbs are avoiding my grasp. I cannot find LED replacements for the A/C and air recirculation buttons. Actually, it took quite a bit of searching for me to remember that the owners manual (another gift that I didn't have with the SL1) has a listing of all bulbs.
Now imagine my dismay when I discover that there is no bulb type listed, unlike the rest of the bulbs, instead I'm told that it's Saturn part number 21023369. And I've only found incandescent replacements available on two sites. My dad, who has worked as an auto mechanic, machinist, parts salesman, and John Deere parts salesman has never before seen this bulb. His only suggestion was to rip out the old one from the holder Saturn seems to have used and put in a new bulb, bending the wiring appropriately. And that's after going through John Deere's parts search system. Has anyone here had any luck with LED replacements for these bulbs? I would much rather they match the look of the rest of my car if I can get them lit again.
Sorry for the story, I felt like sharing.
