Loud Vibration mostly when cold.
I have a 1997 Saturn SL2 Sedan have had it a couple of years change the oil every 3,000 mi. recently it started vibrating I noticed it mostly as I started to drive off and after it was driven for about 25 min. the vibration
subsided. I thought it might be the drive train maybe the right halfshaft CV bearing? But now im not sure. I noticed whil i had the Manual Transmition Disengaged if I accellerated from 1k rpm to 2k rpm the vibration was very prevailing after the car warmed up it smoothed out quite a bit. I drove the car and noticed it would vibrate alittle on my way
down a hill and when i accellerated on the up hill it nearly went away.
then when i his a small bump i noticed small vibration and some squeeky noise. So I'm thinking it might be the CV bearing as part of the issue but the vibration sitting still while cold is somthing else?
I was thinking maybe Strut Torque Rods? or worse crank shaft?
Anyone have experiance with this issue?
Thank You
Mike

Sounds more like the passenger's side engine mounts have failed ... either that, or the tire on the right front has separated the belt from the casing. Rotate your tires first to see if the vibration/rough ride changes.
