Default Mixed up MY sparked plug wires !

On my 1999 Saturn 1.9 liter SOHC while trying to change the old wires to new ones. Yes, I Know I am STUPID but the damn wire harness holder kept getting in the way of trying to chamge them out singly and I couldn't get the SOB off.

Does anyone have a photo or the firing sequence from left to right of the engine and which wires go which coils? Please I beg of you.

The cylinders are of course 1 2 3 and 4 from the left

and the twin coils are One Two Three and Four from the left

which wires go to which coil terminals?

If you have a saturn car like mine with the same engine could look and see? and If you possibly could post a digital picture of the engine and wiring setup here?

I would be eternally grateful !

Funny thing is the car will start and run but the engine is running REAL real rough and won't drive this way.

Thanks for the fast reply buddy. This forum is great. It totally confirms what info I managed to find from another source and the tiny photo of the engine in my haynes manual.

I went out to the garage last night and sure enough mixed up the sequence and changed it as you said.

Now the engine is running very well.

Now to properly gap the plugs which is something I didn't do whatsoever because of this problem.

and also to replace that sob wire harness that is almost impossible to take off when it's on the engine !
