Default My baby is gone..

This is likely my last post to this board. My 1996 SL2 was in an accident today, and I fear it is a write-off. Some young kid slid sideways into the front of my car, setting off the airbags.I bought the car new on Sept 2/95,and it has given me wonderful service over the years. I will truly miss her.

Even without deployment, there appears to be enough damage to retire that car. I hate to see another one leave us that way.I guess you will just have to get a newer model.

Yes,I guess it's time for something new,but nobody makes cars anymore with those plastic body panels. This is the main reason I settled on the car.I never had any problems with the panels, and it kept the car looking brand new.

sorry to see/hear it...glad you are ok.

How's the engine? Drock is looking for a replacement for his 96 SL2....

You would be doing the Saturn community great benefit by parting out what you can....here...other forums....ebay.....engines and trannys getting harder to come by......

pls consider pm'ing drock.....this way the car lives on in a way.....

Kinda like an organ doner. Derf, good point on keeping those used parts in circulation. FYI- I have 30+ doner Saturns if anyone needs anything.
