Need help with Stalling/High Idle

I went through all of this too and it was just the fuel filter that needed to be changed.

I've been having something similar happening with my 97 sl1 and had a p0300 code (multiple cylinder misfires). my mechanic determined it was a bad fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump. if u haven't already I'd recommend checking the first. it fixed my trouble code. I'm still having some issues with mine (variable idle speed and hard to start) because i need to replace the fuel pump still. however it hasn't completely stalled in a couple months so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. o ya and my quick fix before that was shifting into neutral as i started breaking. big no-no i know but better than stalling in the middle of the road
