First, I'm sorry to hear about you losing your wife. My condolences and sympathies. Second, where are you located? If you're here in the South, there are a lot of Pull A Part yards and they have a good website. www.pullapart.com. They'll show you what inventory they have and even where on the lot it is. BUT they can't tell you what parts are still on the vehicle. That part is a crap shoot.

Thanks for the kind thoughts. I am in the general vicinity of Stockton, CA. There are a fair number of auto wreckers, including do it yourself operations, in Stockton, Modesto and Sacramento so I hope to be able to find something. I would rather do business with a person than with a commercial wrecker, but when you get something this specialized I suspect you take what you can find.

My condolences as well.

Indeed in this situation, take what you can find while you can still find it. You are unlikely to find an individual parting out a 20 to 22 year old vehicle if the engine has blown or been in a wreck. It is an insurance loss as soon as something makes contact with any part of that car. Unless they are willing to wait a long time to have that spot in the driveway clear, it never even gets to the driveway it goes straight to the yard.
Strict monitoring of fresh incoming Saturns is the game. And while you are reading of a newly arrived wrecked third generation S car, other people are already stripping it....
