has anybody noticed how close the spark plug wires are to the exaust manifold? I didnt and they melted randomly to the manifold, while i was driving. I since then bought new ones and cable tied them away from the manifold. Is this a problem for anyone else? (btw, this is on a 1994 SL1)

SIX WRECKS ?? Oh my gosh! Have you ever thought about taking a defensive driving course ?? ....(lol)

But to your question - I have not heard of this problem very often. Usually occurs after improper plug wiring replacement during servicing

heh, five of them were from my cousin, i bought the car from her.

I didnt see anything really "wrong" with the way they were installed, they were just really close and one day catastrophe struck.
