this was deleted from the forum and I have no idea why?

"So I just jumped in the car to
take a quick trip down the street to the liquor store. Started the car
and noticed the battery light on, decided to make the trip and leave
the car running in case the battery died after turning it off. As I
pulled out I distinctly noticed that the power steering wasn't working.
Also I could hear a nasty hollow clicking noise. I'm going to take a
look tomorrow when it gets light out, any idea exactly what has failed?
I think it's odd that the battery light came on."</span>

Well, what runs the Alternator, what runs the power steering pump... Your Serpentine belt!!!!!! I'd maybe start there.
