Replacing serpitine belt question. bolt?
#1
Having a tough time figuring out how to take off the old belt. I have the dual cam with a/c. I see two bolts that connect to the ac on the left side. I don't see a swing away plate to lessen the tension.
Thanks

You loosen the tension on the belt at the tensioner. Take a look at the big sticker on the radiator support in the engine compartment. Theres an illustration on how to do it there.

I'm not familiar with the differences between twin and single cam, but on my single cam 94, it made it much easier to do the belt replacement by removing the front, passenger side wheel and the inner wheel well sheilds. You'll probably find it easier to remove the belt tension from the top (as shown in the post above) but fitting the belts back into place was MUCH easier from the side.
