Yeah, $400 gets you a complete pulled-out-of-an-engine-compartment motor here....drop it in, hook up linkages, all electrical, fuel, turn the key and go. Buddy of mine replaced his '99 SL2 motor a couple of months ago, had the motor delivered from the yard after paying $440'ish cash at about 9am Saturday morning...I saw the motor being off-loaded from the flatbed truck (3 guys) and then went to Nation's to pick up our breakfasts....when I got back they had the original motor out and the new motor in already, we ate and 1/2 hour later he had it running and went around the block....driving it every day, and went from 270k to 120k on his motor in an hour or so....helluva deal...
