OK - I''m going to display my ''newbie'' status

... why isn''t there an "after-market" chip/mod to remove (or at least modify) thespeed limiter? Other GM products have them, and I''m sure there is a market for such a device (witness this thread)

And that will get you a bunch of useless results. There is no PCM (ECU) upgrades, chips or anything else available to the Saturn S-Series PCM that will gain any performance.

The speed limiter is dependant on year, engine type, transmission type and tires installed at the factory. Speed limiters for the Saturn Ss-Series are 105, 108, 110, and 124 mph.

thats true low saturn, but they do make chips for our s series you just gotta look. i really dont care about top speed, i drag and street race, acceleration is where its at, you can top out at 124 but if it takes you 10 sec. to hit 60 whats the point? i will be doin a twin cam all motor swap, turbos too expensive for me all i need is to pass honda vtec and v6 mustangs cuz out here noone has a v8... now for the speed limiter im not sure. i heard a twin cam head swap and if you have a manual transmission, a pcm that came out of an automatic twin cam but im not sure...i used to hav a vtec so i know what its like to not have a rev limiter unless youre really dumb its hard to blow a low horsepower motor keep an eye on your rpm i used to redline at 8200 rpm and not once blown the motor

You can buy useless chips for Saturn S-cars, they sell them to people that have no idea what they are doing.
