SES P0708 No other code

SES P0708 No other code
Today my SES light came on while I was in the drive through. I used my code reader and as the title states my car is throwing just the P0708.
If it's relevant I reversed out of the drive through to make a call, put it back in drive and then went to order lol..
I'm just wondering if this is something I can fix on my own and what exactly is it that I need to replace.

Edit to add: Do I need to buy a coolant temp sensor and a neutral safety switch? Google is really confusing lol
Edit to add: The only symptom is the SES light, shifts fine.

P0708 has nothing to do with the coolant temperature sensor. The code means "Transmission Range Sensor "A" Circuit High", and may be related to the neutral safety switch. The terminology that RichPin06a (see linked YouTube video) uses is 'transaxle range switch'. If this switch is out of adjustment, or is bad, it can give a DTC of P070x. He shows how to check the adjustment, how to make the adjustment, and the location of the switch if it needs to be replaced.

The Transmission Control Module (TCM) uses four of the internal switches, A, B, C, and P, to determine the gear range that is selected.
The ECM uses the NS (neutral safety) switch as confirmation that the transmission is in neutral or park before the engine starter is engaged.
While there are many causes, including a Misadjusted transmission range switch, it is possible that it is the result of a loose broken or disconnected ground wire between the transmission range switch and the chassis.
Note what other components are visible in the picture in order to more easily locate the ground wire on the passenger side under the hood.
Hope this helps. Remember, this is only one possibility.

Thank you oldmarine and derf for your very helpful replies!
So, I went out to my car today to take a look at the wires and the cable indicated in derf's pic was unplugged and tucked under my battery.. I am not sure why or how that happened. The only thing done to my car recently was a smog check for my registration and I passed. The smog tech wouldn't have removed that cable?
I then did the test from the video provided by oldmarine and the switch was adjusted properly, I got the sound. I guess I should probably test the cable that was unplugged but I don't know how to do that so I have to google it.
