is it common that the rear windows on the sl2 power windows fall of the tracks?

went to put the window down and it made some noise and then stopped, tried to put back up and wouldnt. so i had to pull it up.

Well, I have owned a couple of SL2 vehicles in the past, but I have never had a problem with the windows falling off the track. Obviously, from your report, it can happen, but I have not had experience in this area ...

Not common, but the rears can get stuck on 91-95 sedans/wagons the older the car gets and if the regualtor doesnt get lubricated.

my driver side passenger window falls off, just dont use it anymore. the motor is still good cause i can hear it move up and down, but the window doesnt like to stay on. unless you have kids i wouldnt worry about it as long as it stays up

I have this same problem and I am trying to find out if I remove the inner or outer panel to check this?
