Default SL2 Winshield Washer Sprayer

The windshield washer sprayer on the passenger side of my 2001 SL2 has decided to stop spraying. Considering that I have very little mechanical ability, is this something I can fix myself, or do I need to take it to a mechanic. This car has lived in the desert all it's life and I suspect the sprayer is clogged with dust. Any help you can give me will be appreciated.

Well, several possibilities come to mind, but first thing to check would be the applicable fuse and the associated wiring. Next on the list would be a water sump that is full, so the pump has something to "pump". Open the hood, enlist the help of a friend, and listen for the pump to run when you operate the switch. Disconnect the outlet, and see if the pump actually pumps anything, then follow the hoses back to the washer nozzles, looking for disconnects or breaks in the line ... Good luck
