How hard would it be to swap out an auto for a manual tranny? I have a 98 SL1 and i would like to put in an SL2 manual. What do I need and what would i need to do? thanks

A manual from a SOHC (SL, SL1, SW1 or SC1) would be better.

i know you will have to chang the fly wheel and getting the tranny in and out is no easy task you have to drop the sub fram and you ahve 2 twist the tranny just right to get it out your strut has to come out your suspention arm is a pain to getback in it wold be worth it in the end to have a 5 speed just beocuse its a heck of a lot more enjoyable! it took me about 3 hours to change me tranny but mine was already a 5 speed! have fun thous slave cylinders are jerks!
