Default 2002 Saturn Vue

Swapped out VTI all wheel drive to a 5 speed front wheel drive.
Plugged selector switch from auto trans in to read park hoping to start fuel pump and starter. Everything works, except fuel puimp and starter. I'm missing something?

Maybe you need to run the power to the switch on your clutch instead of neutral safety switch? I don't know, just guessing.

Are you using an engine wiring harness from a manual equipped Vue? If not then know that they are wired different. You will need to use a Manual Vue wiring harness and manual vue ECM. Remove automatic transmission and old ECM from the engine because they will no longer work for the Manual transmission application.

The clutch pedal which you had to install has a switch on it. Cut the small wire going to the starter a little way away from the starter and splice into each side of that with wire long enough to run to that switch. This will provide you with a neutral safety switch.

Using 5 speed wiring harness and ECM. I have a security light on the dash which is on. Could this need cleared for fuel system to work? Need to know how?

ECM needs to be taught to recognize the vehicle. If you need to know how let me know.
