Please stop by the New Member section and introduce yourself.
While youre at it, go to the top right, where youre username is, and go into User CP.
From there, on the left side, click edit signature, and add your name, location, and car type with specs (motor, tranny) so we can help with future issues.

Sorry, not familiar with the 2.4L . (No sarcasm intended....It'll be at the back of the engine near where the engine and transmission meet since it has to engage the flywheel of the engine to crank it for starting. It will likely be cylindrical and about the diameter of some part the average dude's forearm and about 12 " long (give or take).
Rube's comment holds true---once you're under there and are pretty sure you've found it, look for the red pos + lead from the battery , a smaller colored wire coming from the ign switch, and a ground wire. DO NOT mess with the starter without disconnecting the neg - terminal of the vehicle's battery.
