Post 2008 Saturn VUE XE starter

I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the starter is located on a 2008 Saturn Vue XE 2.4L? Annnnnd is it hard to replace?

Wish I could help, but I've never looked under the hood on a Vue. I'd just suggest getting under it and tracing the hot wire from the battery and see where it goes. Good luck with it.

While youre at it, go to the top right, where youre username is, and go into User CP.

Sorry, not familiar with the 2.4L . (No sarcasm intended....It'll be at the back of the engine near where the engine and transmission meet since it has to engage the flywheel of the engine to crank it for starting. It will likely be cylindrical and about the diameter of some part the average dude's forearm and about 12 " long (give or take).

Rube's comment holds true---once you're under there and are pretty sure you've found it, look for the red pos + lead from the battery , a smaller colored wire coming from the ign switch, and a ground wire. DO NOT mess with the starter without disconnecting the neg - terminal of the vehicle's battery.
