2009 Vue. Several issues popped up recently
So I've had this Vue since it was new. Over the past 2 days, I've had some issues pop up.
The first issue was that the radio would stay on after the keys were out of the ignition and the driver side door was opened. The battery run down protection would turn it off as normal. This was yesterday and is still occurring.
The problem that came up today is that the turn signal stopped working. The turn lights work as they respond to the alarm when I arm/disarm it. I also noted that the headlight switch on the dash is not working and neither is the hazard light switch.
Can anyone help me with this? Thanks for your help everyone!

Radio issue
Does it chime when you open the door to get out (like the keys are still in the ignition?)
Turn Signals
Do the dash indicators function properly? Do they stick in the ON position (solid light)?
I do not believe all of these would be on one fuse, and the turn bulbs working with the arming of the alarm makes me think Body Control Module (BCM) is becoming scatterbrained.
Maybe someone else with more experience in the 2nd gen Vues or Captivas can assist you more.
If not, you may need to bite the bullet and take it to a GM dealer -- a CHEVY dealer, since they are familiar with the Captiva.

I've been thinking it may be the bcm. But may have to break down and take it to the dealer. The bcm fuses looked good. Any other thoughts?

you can find the full layout of what is on each fuse and/or check them all with an ohmmeter and see if any of these things share fuses.
But honestly, with that many things inoperative cropping up all at once, you may be able to talk them into re-flashing (reprogramming) the BCM first before all out replacement. It is cheaper but if the hardware is going bad, it will get messed up again slowly with time.
Do some internet searching and see what experiences others have found. There could be an internal GM service bulletin for this issue. Dunno.
