Found a Vue Question on Allpar
Hey Guys, I've been a member of Allpar for years now and browsing it tonight, I found this posted there under the non-mopar header. Nothing about this sounds right to me. Y'all check it out and see what you think. I recommended the poster come over here and join up and post. Let's see what happens. Here is the post.
"Thought i would ask this of the bunch, we have a used Saturn Vue sold to a customer who experiences and T/C shudder when speed is approx 30 mph and low throttle. Describes it as a manual transmission in 5th gear but only doing 20 mph. We have taken it to our local GM dealer, no codes etc. Has Honda produced trans in vehicle, and we have replaced fluid. Haven't really seen too much online about it, thinking T/C. Any one else have this issue?"

Hell, Derf, I'm confused by the whole damned post. They talk about torque converter shudder and then state it does it at 20 mph in 5th gear. Any standard shift I've ever worked on or driven didn't have a torque converter and every automatic I've ever driven would not be in 5th gear at 20 mph. You see what I'm getting at? I guess they're just comparing the shudder on that crappy Honda automatic to a standard shift being in 5th gear and doing 20mph, but it just looks weird to me. But then again, I'm just a dumbass old hillbilly that doesn't know much about anything.
